With a new year having nearly one month complete we figured now was as good a time as any to announce the new look the Troop Site will be coming out with in a few short weeks (hopefully).
As the impact of social media further solidifies itself in our daily lives we realize now, more than ever, the necessity of a strong foothold in the social media world to better inform not only members of our Troop but our community as a whole of all the fun and exciting activities we’ll be embarking upon during any given year.
To do so, we will be incorporating a new design to the website as well as redesigning our current social media sites (Facebook, YouTube, and Twitter).
Some of those changes have already begun (ie linking your personal Facebook account with your existing Troop account on the website for ease of login) and others are still in the works (updated website design and multimedia content).
We thank you for your continued patronage and support of our local Boy Scout Troop and the Scouting organization as a whole and look forward to delivering top-notch content to you in the future.
2012 definitely has a lot of potential and we look forward to seeing where it will take us.
