The final month of 2010 has arrived but there is still so much left to do before we ring in the New Year.
So many exciting events to talk about, let’s not waste any time:
Care & Share Food Drive: We will be passing out bags on Saturday, December 4th. Please meet at the northeast corner of the K-Mart parking lot (time to be determined) where we will split up into groups and get figure out what areas each group will work on. The following Saturday, December 11th, we will be going around the same neighborhoods to collect the items from the participating houses.
Wolf Campout: After we drop off the collected items for Care & Share we will be off on our Wolf Campout and return on Sunday, December 12th. Times and pick-up/drop-off locations will be discussed during the Troop Meetings leading up to this event.
Court of Honor: Our end of the year Court of Honor will be Monday, December 13th at 7:00p. Please make sure you bring a desert of some kind (cookies) or a beverage.
Christmas Party: The Troop Christmas Party will be alongside the Court of Honor on Monday, December 13th, at our normal meeting time. We hope to see you all there as we send off 2010 with a bang!
Troop Elections: We will be holding our Troop Elections on Monday, December 20th. If you wish to run for Senior Patrol Leader, make sure you attend this meeting. No one can vote for you if you’re not there.
Historical Merit Badges: All requirements for the historical merit badges must be completed by December 31st, 2010. We will be spending this month finishing up any remaining requirements for boys that wish to earn these “once in a lifetime” badges.
