We’ve made it halfway through 2010, but we’re not on the downhill slide as we move farther into the summer months.
This month we will be participating in the Independence Day Flag Ceremony at the Elks Lodge on Saturday, July 3rd. Information on times to meet at the Elks Lodge will be emailed out to the troop.
For those attending summer camp this year, we will be meeting at the church parking lot at 6:00p MT on Saturday, July 10th, to load up all gear that you plan on bringing. That way you can make sure you have everything you need and, on the off chance you forget something, bring any missing items with you when we leave the next morning. Departure for camp is scheduled for Sunday, July 11th, at 4:00a MT. Please make sure to be at the church parking lot by 3:30a MT so we can ensure everything is squared away and have a smooth trip down to Camp Cedars.
We have also gone to a 2-meeting a month schedule for our Troop Committee Meetings, which begin this month. They will be held on the 1st/3rd Monday of each month at 6:00p MT at our normal meeting location. This month we have elected to keep our second scheduled meeting on the 19th, regardless if there is a Troop meeting or not. If there is no Troop meeting then an alternate time/location may be used. Information will be emailed to all Committee Members accordingly.
