Upcoming Events in January

A new year is upon us and there is lots to do.

There are numerous events being planned on the council, district, and Troop level; as well as some fun activities in general.

So break out your calendars because I’m sure there are at least a few items this month you won’t want to miss.

Harlem Globetrotters: Join in on the fun of watching the Harlem Globetrotters at the Rushmore Plaza Civic Center on January 4th.  Click here for more information and to fill out a ticket order form.

District Winter Klondike: Numerous outdoor, winter events will be available at this year’s Winter Klondike, from January 7-9th.  Click here for more information.

Prospective Eagle Meeting: Rodney will be discussing the paperwork process, Eagle projects, etc with prospective Eagle Scouts (ie Life Scouts) and their parents on January 9th at 2pm.  Please contact Rodney for more information.

WaTiki Waterpark: For those Scouts that sold enough popcorn, etc to earn a trip to WaTiki Waterpark it will be held from January 15-17th.  Information will be given directly to those Scouts that earned this trip.

Okpik Training: This is the outdoor portion of the training program and will be held January 15-16th at MMSR.  You must have completed the indoor training in order to attend the outdoor training.

Woodbadge Breakfast: For all Woodbadge members there will be a breakfast held at the Scout Office on January 21st at 8am.

PJ District Dinner: January 21st at the Surbeck Center (more information to follow as made available)

BHAC Dinner: January 28th at the Surbeck Center (more information to follow as made available)

January Merit Badge: Family Life
