Fall is in full swing but that doesn’t mean our activity list has to dwindle. There are still lots of fun activities to look forward to this month.
Fall Product Sales: Make sure to stay active on your product sales. There will be “Show-n-Sells” on October 2nd, 16th, and 23rd to help the Troop and individual Scouts achieve our goal. The “Show-n-Sell” for the 16th will be at SAM’s Club from 10a-4p and on the 23rd at Scheel’s from 10a-4p. Sales end on Sunday, October 24th, with orders needing to be turned into the Council Office by Monday, October 25th. Bruce may need your order forms before that though. Stay tuned for more information as it becomes available.
Council Fall Fun Day: The Elks Theater will be presenting Disney’s “Up” to all area Scouts on Saturday, October 2nd. While pre-registration is not required, the theater can only hold 500 people. Please click here to pre-register for this event.
Presidents Statue Presentation: The Perdue’s will be honoring the local area Scouts on Saturday, October 9th, at a dedication ceremony. This was a short-notice invitation but if you’re able to attend please make sure to meet with Pack 74 at 8:30a. Contact Jolene Hillestad for more information.
Red Ribbon Parade: Rapid City’s annual Red Ribbon Parade will be held on Saturday, October 16th. More information to follow as it becomes available.
Native American Day (Columbus Day): There will be no meeting on Monday, October 11th, in observance of Native American Day. Enjoy some time with your family and friends.
Troop Committee/PLC Meeting: There will only be one Troop Committee/PLC Meeting this month. It will be held on Monday, October 18th, at 6pm at our normal meeting location.
Court of Honor Pictures: Pictures from last month’s Court of Honor have been posted and are available for viewing. Congratulations to all the achievements and rank advancements our boys earned. They’ve been working very hard and it shows. Well done!!
